ACRAZE Breaks the Mold With Heady House Track, “Heard It Like This”

We're willing to bet you haven't heard ACRAZE quite like this.

The "Do It To It" hitmaker brings a darker club edge in his new track, which samples Joey Valence & Brae's indie hip-hop song "Ready Set." Channeling the sounds of Beastie Boys, the duo's nostalgic and carefree exuberance mutates into something more sinister as ACRAZE pumps their vocals with techno-fueled adrenaline.

The release of "Heard It Like This" marks the latest in a string of imaginative sampling efforts for ACRAZE, who is garnering a reputation as a crate-digger after interpolating music by Natasha Bedingfield ("Take Me Away") and Rockell ("In a Dream") in recent original tracks.

ACRAZE is now looking forward to a momentous headlining gig on March 1st, 2024, when he'll head to the famed Knockdown Center in Queens, a short trip from the Staten Island native's hometown. Fans can purchase tickets to the show here.

"Heard It Like This" is out now via Thrive Music. Take a listen below and find the new track on streaming platforms here.
