Barbie’s Real-Life Malibu DreamHouse Has a DJ Booth and Disco Rink—And You Can Book It On Airbnb

Amidst a robust marketing campaign for the upcoming blockbuster Barbie film release on July 21st, the toys are out listing homes on Airbnb. Nestled in the beautiful backdrop of Malibu, California, a real-life Barbie's DreamHouse is currently listed on the platform for guests to book.
"Hosted" by Ken, who is played by Ryan Gosling in the film, the life-size home features a pool, DJ booth and nightclub-style disco rink to rave the night away. It's the ideal spot to drop Tiësto's new remix of Aqua's 1997 classic, "Barbie Girl."

The DreamHouse comprises three floors and a slide that takes you from the second floor to the ground level. The home is decorated "Ken's way," which contrasts the bright pink style and theme of the Barbie franchise.

According to Airbnb, booking opens at 10am PT on Monday, July 17th. It'll be available for two separate one-night stays for up to two guests on July 21st and July 22nd, 2023.
Barbie's manufacturer, Mattel, has launched a number of brand collaborations prior to the movie's premiere next month. These include a themed Xbox console, shoe collection from Aldo, custom rug from Ruggable and official Barbie-branded skates from Impala.
Warner Bros. is also set to host a "Barbie Boat Cruise" in Boston on June 30th. The one-night-only cruise will feature photo opps, giveaways an more.
Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, respectively. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 21st, 2023.
