Crankdat and Savage Join Forces for Raucous Bass Anthem, “Move Back”
"Move Back" expertly blends Crankdat and Savage's high-energy styles.
Returning to Monstercat, Crankdat has enlisted famed "Swing" rapper Savage for a raucous bass house single, "Move Back."
"Move Back" expertly blends both Crankdat and Savage's signature sounds into one commanding package. The track's whirring bass grates and grinds effortlessly alongside Savage's unmistakable voice, curating a high-energy atmosphere and a festival-ready bass anthem.
The high-flying collab takes it a step further in the second drop, transforming the bass house track into a rumbling dubstep heater. Here, Crankdat goes half-time to bring the relentless arrangement home.
“The demo of this song was originally titled 'Ride the Bull,' because to me it sounded like some Spanish Mariachi Matador stuff," says Crankdat. "I’ve loved 'Swing' and 'Freaks' for a long time, so I was all about working with Savage."
Although "Move Back" is Crankdat's first single of 2023, he's been busier than ever. The Ohio-born producer is wrapping up his first headline run in over three years and is set to make his Ultra Miami debut next month.
