Defqon.1 Storms Into Action With Massive 2023 Lineup Featuring Headhunterz, Coone, More

Defqon.1 is chock full of new programming developments for 2023, including more explosive closing shows and the "harder styles workout" regimen.

The foremost home for hard dance on the music festival circuit is shaping up to be bigger than ever.

Over 350 artists are set to soundtrack four days of madness at Defqon.1 in the Netherlands. The Q-dance-helmed endeavor is bringing the heat in 2023 with Coone, Angerfist, Headhunterz, D-Sturb, Sub Zero Project, DJ Isaac, Ran-D and many more.

The global dance music brand attracts a massive audience of over 100,000 dedicated fans on an annual basis, and this year the scale of their already awe-inspiring production is only escalating further. Each day will end with explosive closing shows featuring boundless pyrotechnics and effects.

The stakes will reach a fever pitch during the closing ceremonies on Sunday, when The Prophet is set to take the stage for his last show ever, according to a press release shared with EDM.com. The Godfather of Hardstyle won't be going quietly, so expect a historic set as he aims to leave it all on the table while unifying hard dance fans at the RED Stage.

There's more to enjoy than ever at Defqon.1 this year, including a new Air Bed rave on Sunday, where festival-goers can soak up the sun while hearing hardstyle renditions performed on a concert piano. And if fitness fanatics needed any further excuse to get the blood pumping, attendees on Saturday morning can join the "harder styles workout," which is set to kick off with a bang as pro trainers take over the UV Stage.

Defqon.1 is set to return June 22-25, 2023. Find out more and purchase tickets here.
