Esseks Joins Of The Trees’ Memory Palace Label With “Dead Meat” Alongside tiedye ky

The bass-infused, eccentric styles of Esseks and tiedye ky join forces on "Dead Meat," the newest release on Of The Trees' label, Memory Palace. Days before the release of the track, Memory Palace officially welcomed Esseks to the collective on social media.

"Dead Meat" starts out with a cacophony of bass-heavy and otherworldly sounds, including radio feedback about the city of Los Angeles being on fire. The track breaks to a thick release, with the word "fire" ringing in the ears as crisp drums and left-field bass noises echo and thump.

Esseks' signature style of dark, quirky and boundary-pushing beats make way for the track's drop, which sends us into deep space. Sinister, pulsing and obsidian yet innovative and fresh, the darkness of the track then mellows with harmonic elements that reflect tiedye ky's production techniques. The worlds and sounds of both artists effortlessly collide.

Esseks and tiedye ky just wrapped up a sprawling tour across the states, with performances at Meow Wolf, Sol Fest and many more.

Now, Esseks has upcoming performances in Colorado opening for Rezz at Red Rocks, North Coast Music Festival in Illinois, Farm Fest in Maine and more. tiedye ky will play a Denver date in mid-September.
