Excision announces cancellation of Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, shares 2021 dates for both festivals

Would-be Lost Lands attendees must save the ‘bass face’ for 2021. On June 26, Excision took to Facebook to announce that neither Lost Lands nor Bass Canyon would host its 2020 iteration due to health concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Citing the current global circumstances as impediments to the safety and feasibility of hosting the festivals, Excision expressed his disappointment that neither event would return for a 2020 edition and vowed to provide attendees with the best experience possible in 2021:

“While it is sad to not have our festivals this year, we’re hard at work taking advantage of this extra time to ensure next year is the best yet. I’ve been hard at work on a new album as well as some other surprises I can’t wait to share.

When shows and festivals come back in full force, the energy is going to be absolutely insane, and I can’t wait to share those moments with all of you.”

Lost Lands will host its next installment from September 24-26, 2021 and Bass Canyon, from August 20-22, 2021. Ticket holders will have the option to either receive a refund or roll over their passes. Refunds can be claimed from June 26-July 27 and will be processed 30 days after July 27.
