Franc Moody Kick Off House of FM Imprint With New Single, “Move Me”
Loaded up with a "gorilla-sized bass riff" and a delicate dose of disco synths, the single was described as a "landmark moment" in the duo's' journey as independent musicians.
After taking us on a trip to the desert last year with their funk-fueled album Into The Ether, acclaimed duo Franc Moody have officially reemerged, this time diving into the darker depths of disco with their new single "Move Me."
With sultry synths and a "godzilla-sized bass riff" conjuring up images of Pit Viper sunglasses, latex pants and sparkling purple lights, "Move Me" is the lead release off Franc Moody's indie label, House of FM. Simply put, it's a hip-shaking head turner, bound to transport crowds into the clouds with retro flair, playful synth ornaments and an infectious chorus.

"It feels like a bit of a landmark moment for us in terms of our continued journey as independent musicians," the duo said in a joint statement. "That freedom, spirit and sense of community defines our project and we feel ‘Move Me’ encapsulates this moment perfectly. It’s a tune built for the dance floor."
