From Secret Lineups to Lucid Experiences: Space Yacht Kicks Off Summer 2023 With a Bang

Space Yacht is off to a busy summer, selling out Los Angeles' Academy club with a special "Tech My House" show.

The secret lineup ultimately featured performances from Shift K3Y, Arnold & Lane, Modern Love, Techo Tupac and No Static. Each artist provided their own unique flair on the decks with progressive and highly energetic tech house sets.

While the DJs will always receive their praise, a special shout-out and flowers should be given to the lighting and production teams behind Space Yacht and Academy. The eye-popping visuals on the clubs wrap-around display led to an ethereal, lucid experience for the sold-out crowd.

Nonetheless, Space Yacht curated a lineup of DJs that arguably could have been tastemaking for one another if they were headliners.

The beloved events brand and record company is a mainstay in Los Angeles. Space Yacht's Tuesdays at Sound Nightclub are a consistent haven for electronic music aficionados and their memorable boat parties have become some of the city's most coveted dance music events, with the next coming to Long Beach on July 22nd.

They're also set to take over the Brooklyn Mirage's Great Hall, which Avant Gardner calls "the quintessential Brooklyn warehouse venue," for Louis the Child’s upcoming "Alter-Ego" event on August 19th. Other artists include JOYRYDE, Snakehips and Pauline Herr, among others.
