Habstrakt and Malaa Drop Explosive Bass House Track, “Molotov”

Sparks fly in this explosive collab, which will appear on Habstrakt's debut album "Heritage."

As Habstrakt gears up for his debut album, he's joined forces with Malaa for an eruptive collab, "Molotov."

Just like the track's name suggests, it's as explosive as a Molotov cocktail. The French compatriots and "Riot Gear" collaborators have delivered a glitched-out grenade that embodies the grimy bass house spirit.

"I wrote the first idea of this record when I first moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and it's been haunting me since," Habstrakt said in a statement. "I had a vision for it but could never get it right, until I recently decided to fully rework it after being inspired in Amsterdam for ADE and developing the album."

Ahead of the album, which is due out in March 2023, Habstrakt is set to embark on an eponymous "Heritage" tour with stops in the U.S. and Europe. Softest Hard, Lucille Croft and Chyl will support.

Meanwhile, Malaa’s "Don Malaa" tour is working its way through Europe, with remaining stops in Madrid, London, Vienna and Paris. He will also play at Coachella in April.
