Hardwell and Machine Made Sample The Killers for New Dance Anthem,”HUMAN”
Hardwell's deluge of new music continues with a killer sample-based track to kickstart September.
The mainstage techno titan has teamed up with Machine Made to release a fire-starting collaboration, "HUMAN," which notably samples The Killers' 2008 hit of the same name.
Of course, the band's alt-rock classic boasts a hook ripe for a transformative dance music remix with the inquiry, "Are we human or are we dancers?" And Hardwell and Machine Made are ready to make sparks fly as summer festival season enters its closing stretch.
The prolific Hardwell didn't hesitate to preview the new track on Tomorrowland's fabled mainstage in July, when he showcased the raw power of his big room techno sound. The iconic lyrics are heard clearly in the build-up before a cascading wave of ominous techno soundscapes and booming kicks takes center focus.
The track arrives nearly a year to the day following Hardwell's REBELS NEVER DIE album release, which first gave fans a glimpse into what the Dutch superstar's newfound direction would ultimately sound like.
"Human" is out now via Hardwell's Revealed Recordings. Take a listen below.
