ÎLESONIQ Wraps Up Magical 2023 Festival With Sets by Martin Garrix, SVDDEN DEATH, More

Yet another impressive îLESONIQ edition is in the books after tens of thousands of electronic dance music enthusiasts united in Montreal to experience some of the best artists the genre has to offer.

Since its debut back in 2014, îLESONIQ has captured the hearts and minds of Canada’s EDM faithful. This year, the celebrated festival returned to the scenic island of Sainte-Hélène in the heart of Montreal with what might have been its most impressive lineup to date.

Spread across three stages at the sprawling Parc Jean-Drapeau, îLESONIQ’s performers ranged from heavy dubstep to ethereal techno, offering a diverse range of sounds that included something for everyone.

îLESONIQ's colossal Bell Stage hosted a slew of the industry’s most acclaimed mainstage headliners on August 12th, like The Chainsmokers and Brazilian dance music superstar Alok. The second day at Bell was headlined by Dutch icon Martin Garrix, who enchanted îLESONIQ’s crowd with a typically explosive performance after Above & Beyond, deadmau5, Lost Frequencies, Becky Hill and more.

The Mirage Stage was home to the harder bass music sounds, headlined by SLANDER and SVDDEN DEATH’s VOYD alias on the festival’s two days. It also hosted a number of exciting B2B performances, with Borgore B2B LEVEL UP, Crankdat B2B Bandlez, SVDDEN DEATH B2B Eptic, Sullivan King B2B Wooli and more.

The stage then transformed itself into a progressive and techno spectacle on Sunday, with mesmerizing live performances from Stephan Bodzin, Agents Of Time, BLOND:ISH, Cassian and ANNA, who went on a two-hour B2B with Sama’ Abdulhadi.

îLESONIQ is gearing up to celebrate its 10th edition on August 10-11, 2024. You can find out more about the festival here.
