Kasablanca Reveal Plans for Ambitious Tour and Two-Part Debut Album, “Higher Resolution”
After a year that has certainly not been without its ups and downs, Kasablanca are seeing the path forward with clarity.
The enigmatic electronic music duo have announced the release of their debut album, soon to arrive in two distinct parts. However, the record isn't merely a musical milestone—it's a deeply personal project that carries significant weighty in the wake of Micky Kasablanca's early-2024 cancer diagnosis.
Shrouded in mystery, often letting their music speak louder than words, the multi-talented live electronic outfit is well-positioned to deliver their most impactful work yet. Titled Higher Resolution, the long-awaited album is set to include previously-released singles "Terminal Feeling" and "Remission," the latter of which is collaboration with Lane 8 released in the wake of Micky's aggressive chemotherapy treatment.
With the announcement also comes Kasablanca's most ambitious tour plans to boot. Fans can catch their "new live experience" on the road starting this fall and, in the meantime, stay tuned for the release of the first chapter of Higher Resolution on October 4th.
