Lane 8’s “Fall 2023” Mixtape is a Warm Adventure Into Autumn’s Sweater Weather
For most, the sounds of fall include rustling leaves, howling wind and slurps from a warm, pumpkin-flavored drink. But for fans of Lane 8's This Never Happened, the calendar shift towards autumn is signified by the release of a brand-new seasonal mix.
Lane 8's "Fall 2023 Mixtape" is almost three hours long, packed with his mixing finesse and signature style of uplifting house music. As is par for the course when it comes to these seasonal mixtapes, a number of energizing unreleased tracks are woven through. Tracks from Le Youth, Sultan + Shepard, Tinlicker and many more are featured in this season's mix.
The influential deep house producer has been spending time with his family this summer instead of playing hit typical slew of shows, working to strike a balance between all of life's important elements.
"It feels a bit strange to go through almost an entire summer without doing many shows, but I’m just now realizing how much I needed that mental health reset," Lane 8 wrote on social media.
He also said he's looking forward to more shows in the next few months, adding that new music "has been rolling again, slowly but surely, and I have a couple new ones I’m excited about." In the meantime, fans can catch him at an upcoming performance at iii Points Festival in Miami and Dreamstate Festival in SoCal.
