Watch Ultra Music Festival Transform Into “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” in 2023 Aftermovie

Someone tell Rockstar Games to scrap whatever they have for GTA VI and make this instead.

Each year, the minds behind Ultra commission an aftermovie to showcase the festival's many mind-blowing sights and sounds. While there have been some incredible recaps in recent years, their latest might just be their best yet.

Taking cues from Rockstar's iconic Grand Theft Auto franchise is ULTRA: VICE CITY, the official Ultra Music Festival Miami 2023 aftermovie. Produced by Final Kid Films and inspired by the fourth entry in the trailblazing game series, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the audiovisual is brilliantly styled to mirror the seminal 2002 video game.

Kicking off with its main character dressed in the same clothing as the game's protagonist, the camera pans out to reveal UI elements similar to what you would see in GTA. You're then shown cutscenes that send the star on missions to help Fedde Le Grand and Oliver Heldens between clips from some of the biggest DJ sets of the festival.

The final result is a treat for fans of the game and the iconic dance music festival. There's plenty of footage of Ultra Miami's stages mixed in with nerdy easter eggs.
