Lil Wolf "Undone": New Music Out Now!

Genre-blending producer and artist Lil Wolf has released his latest single “Undone,” a track born from months of travel, collaboration, and late-night jam sessions that spanned continents. The song, inspired by Afro house rhythms and a deep personal transformation, is now available on major streaming platforms.

“Undone” follows Lil Wolf’s immersive experience at AfrikaBurn, a South African arts festival known for its music, community, and radical expression. The artist says the idea for the song came after nights spent dancing under open skies to Afro house music. The track captures that energy—raw, rhythmic, and deeply human.

“If the opposite of undone is being buttoned up, then undone means vulnerable, raw, and real,” Lil Wolf shared in a recent interview. “The deconstruction of years of societal conditioning. There’s beauty in that chaos.”

Known for his hybrid of ambient pop, indie electronica, and global sounds, Lil Wolf—who once worked as a composer in Los Angeles for film and TV—has now fully embraced a nomadic lifestyle. In recent years, he’s traveled across Bali, Vietnam, Berlin, and South Africa, collaborating with artists and choirs, often setting up impromptu recording sessions in Airbnb apartments, hotel rooms, and coffee shops.

One of the final touches on “Undone” was a set of tribal, bark-like vocalizations layered into the chorus—a nod to the primal energy he felt while creating the song. Despite heavy vocal processing and experimental production techniques, Lil Wolf emphasizes songwriting as his core focus. “I force myself to write in this way because I want to write songs, not just music,” he said.

Currently based between Bali and Berlin, Lil Wolf is continuing work on a series of cross-cultural collaborations with emerging international artists. He also expressed his desire to use his platform to spotlight global talent and bring attention to the challenges many artists face in sustaining creative careers.

“Undone” marks a significant moment in his evolving sound—one that’s less concerned with genre and more committed to honesty.
