Louis The Child's debut LP, 'Here For Now,' has landed
Good things come to those who wait, case in point, Here For Now. Following Louis The Child‘s initial delay of their debut LP, which was originally slated to arrive June 12 Interscope Records, the 14 song offering has formally landed on all digital streaming platforms, offering listeners an extended look into the production pair’s whimsical electronic style.
On June 8, Louis The Child announced that Here For Now would release at a later date than originally planned so as not to distract the duo from their efforts to continue combating systemic racism. The two-piece outfit informed fans of the decision in an Instagram post, writing,
“We’re excited for you to hear [the album] , but right now we need to keep out focus on this movement. We encourage you to keep your foot on the gas, keep educating, keep donating, keep showing up in the streets with us, and remember to vote!”
Now, a long time in the making, Louis The Child’s seminal album, led by a series of previously released one-offs, “Nobody Like You,” “Little Things,” “Every Color,” “Don’t Mind,” and “Free,” is here, with features from EARTHGANG, K.Flay, Duckwrth, Bob Moses, and Everything’s Okay, among others.
