Odd Mob and OMNOM Drop Entrancing Single, “Mind Awake, Body Asleep”

With "Mind Awake, Body Asleep," Odd Mob and OMNOM walk the tightrope between the conscious groove and the somnambulant dream. 

The two producers have found themselves consistently aligned on the creative front in 2023. Most recently, they're riding high off of the meteoric, Beatport chart-topping single "Losing Control," which arrived on John Summit's Experts Only imprint in mid-September.

Now, "Mind Awake, Body Asleep," marks what can arguably be considered a spiritual follow-up to "Losing Control." The track embodies a familiar ominous atmosphere, with dynamic rhythms underpinned by an equally hypnotizing vocal hook that takes us deeper into a captivating trance with each passing moment.

While "Losing Control" was characterized by sweeping, blow-the-doors-off synth work, the duo showcase a more nuanced approach on their latest effort, bringing an increasingly intricate level of depth to their groove. The offering marks yet another welcome evolution for one of the most successful collaborative forces of the year in dance music.
