Rising DJ Matthew Topper’s “Move On” Receives Major Support From Loud Luxury
"Move On" is taking over the airwaves after receiving the remix treatment from Zack Martino.
Fusing tech house with recognizable hits, Matthew Topper is crafting his own sound piece by piece. With over 10 years of experience as a DJ, he has been a full-time producer over the past five years, consistently sharing new music while cultivating an ever-growing audience.
At over 200,000 streams on Spotify since its release in mid-2022, “Move On” is one of Topper’s most recognizable tracks, sampling Yung Berg’s hip-hop classic “Sexy Lady.” The rising house music producer enlisted Zack Martino for an official remix late last year in a collaborative effort that infused the tune with shimmering synths and hard-hitting drums.
Now, the dancefloor-focused remix has taken on a life of its own in Loud Luxury's DJ sets. It received huge support in the duo's recent exclusive DJ mix on Apple Music, "Songs You’ve Been Asking For: Vol. 1."
Loud Luxury’s edit brings together past and present in an infectious way, combining the relentless basslines of Martino’s “Move On” remix with the distinct synth melodies of Far East Movement’s “Like A G6” and Drake’s viral verse from "Rich Flex."
Judging by the colossal mainstream appeal of Loud Luxury within dance music, their support is the latest cog in the broiling career of Topper. Eager to continue venturing into uncharted musical territory with more popular artists and remixers, he considers the success of Martino’s remix as just the beginning.
"It feels fantastic to be part of Loud Luxury’s first official DJ Mix featured on Apple Music—it truly speaks volumes about the quality of our work together!" Topper said.
