SLANDER and Alan Walker to Headline Lunar New Year Celebration in Brooklyn
An EDM-infused Lunar New Year party is going down in Brooklyn next year.
Spring Festival: Lunar New Year Celebration will return to Avant Gardner for its second year in February 2024, courtesy of Pulse Events. According to the promoter's founder and CEO, Luffy Huang, the goal is to blend the cultural celebration with dance music to create a unique experience representing the best of both worlds.
This year's party will also feature elements from Chinese culture, like a pop-up night market and lion dances.
"Lunar New Year is the most important festival for Asians. In our inaugural Spring Festival in 2023, we successfully combined electronic music with the Lunar New Year culture," Huang explained. "For our 2024 edition, more Chinese cultural elements will be added like a New Year night market concept, lion dances, and other special activities and decorations. We are thrilled to continue joining forces with Avant Gardner and to open up Great Hall and Kings Hall for two stages of music for fans."
On the musical side of things, organizers have recruited a pair of superstar EDM headliners. For the melodic bass fans, SLANDER will be laying down some of their emotional anthems at Spring Festival 2024. Joining them is the Norwegian heavyweight Alan Walker, whose sound has been honed at some of the biggest festivals in the world. More artists will be announced in the weeks ahead.
Spring Festival: Lunar New Year Celebration will take place February 18-19, 2024 at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn. Tickets are on sale now and can be found here.
