The Chainsmokers and ILLENIUM Team Up With Carlie Hanson for Angsty Breakup Anthem, “See You Again”

The Chainsmokers and ILLENIUM have reunited for "See You Again," an angsty breakup anthem with an electro-punk twist.

The chart-topping producers, who teamed up back in the summer of 2019 for the global dance hit "Takeaway," returned to the studio last year and revealed a new collaboration was in the works. They're now showing off the fruits of their labor after dropping the soaring "See You Again," which The Chainsmokers said is "even mightier" than its predecessor.

The high-flying collab features red-hot alt-pop artist Carlie Hanson, who signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2019. Take a listen below.

Hanson and The Chainsmokers recently joined ILLENIUM onstage at his momentous "Trilogy" concert in Colorado, where they performed "See You Again" live before a record-breaking crowd of 45,000. The show, which took place in the stadium of the NFL's Denver Broncos, was the largest EDM event in the state's history.

"This is one of the biggest moments—if not the biggest moment—for American electronic music that we've ever seen," The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart said of the historic show.
