Tim Bergling Foundation Announces 2023 Return of Avicii Tribute Concert, “Together For A Better Day”
The Tim Bergling Foundation is once again firing up the nostalgia machine, promising to light up the night like a timeless Avicii drop on a summer festival stage.
The family of the late dance music icon, who tragically took his own life in 2018, launched "Together For A Better Day" to de-stigmatize mental health issues and raise awareness of suicide among young people. The inaugural concert in 2021 offered longtime fans a triumphant celebration of Avicii's life and legacy in his hometown of Stockholm.
This year's "Together For A Better Day" concert brings a multi-genre lineup and philharmonic orchestra to the enchanting Avicii Arena, the largest spherical building in the world, which was renamed after the influential producer in honor of his enduring impact. Fans can catch performances by Yung Lean, Griff, Thomas Stenström, Cherrie, Cleo and Dan Tyminski, the lattermost of whom featured on Avicii's 2013 generational dance anthem "Hey Brother."

The Tim Bergling Foundation, which actively advocates for the recognition of suicide as a global health crisis, announced the return of "Together For A Better Day" on World Mental Health Day.
"I hope we succeed in creating a feeling that we really do this together, because it is only together that we can make a difference," said Avicii's father, Klas Bergling, at the time of the first tribute concert. "Young people are our future and we must be afraid for them. It is unacceptable that they are getting worse and that suicide rates are rising in that group—and it is our duty to do what we can to break that trend."
The 2023 edition of "Together For A Better Day" is scheduled for December 6th. The Tim Bergling Foundation will reveal more artists on the lineup in the weeks ahead.
