UNTOLD Announces Mystical Concept for 2023 Festival: The Light Phoenix

UNTOLD, Romania’s largest festival and one of Europe’s most celebrated electronic music hubs, has revealed the creative concept for its 2023 edition: The Light Phoenix.

UNTOLD is returning to the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca August 3-6, uniting ravers for four days and nights of magical festival experiences. Less than a month ahead of its 8th edition, organizers have revealed this year’s theme: Phoenix, the Protector of The World Capital of Night and Magic, also known as The Light Phoenix.

UNTOLD’s expansive universe bridges the gap between magic and reality, with The Light Phoenix aiming "to protect, guide and inspire" festival-goers. Alongside the presentation of this year’s theme, the festival has also added a handful of DJs to its jaw-dropping lineup, completing the highly anticipated list of names slated to take the decks at the dazzling mainstage.

Renowned singer-songwriter Olly Murs, pop-dance crossover talent Justin Jesso and Spanish star B Jones were added to the mainstage’s lineup, joining a diverse bill of dance music superstars. From Alok, Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix and ZHU to Imagine Dragons, Ava Max and Bebe Rexha, UNTOLD’s mainstage billing is impressive.

Boundary-pushing techno duo Tale Of Us were also revealed as one of the acts on UNTOLD's stunning Galaxy stage, which will also feature sets from Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha and more. The Alchemy stage will feature a bass-driven lineup with the likes of Apashe, Borgore and Valentino Khan while the Fortune stage will guide attendees on a trance journey with Markus Schulz, John O'Callaghan and more.

Deep and chill house fans will be able to enjoy performances from Acid Pauli, Am I Right, Dubfire and more on the Daydreaming stage. Anna Tur, MATTN, Simina Grigoriu and Rich DietZ will take over the Time stage. The Retro Fantesia and Tram stages will include a range of local acts and DJs.
