Dillon Francis, Cheat Codes, More to Perform at Diplo’s “HonkyTonk” Stagecoach Experience
In addition to DJ sets, attendees will also be able to partake in lessons to learn line-dancing and two-step.
Saddle up, partner: Diplo has announced the lineup for his "HonkyTonk" electronic music experience at the annual Stagecoach festival.
Taking place in Indio from April 28th to 30th, Stagecoach, one of the nation's biggest country music festivals, packs a powerful lineup for this year. But Diplo is bringing some high-profile dance music artists to the fest for "HonkyTonk," including Dillon Francis, Lost Frequencies and Cheat Codes, among others.
In addition to rowdy DJ sets, attendees will also be able to partake in lessons to learn line-dancing and two-step, according to a press release.
"Stagecoach is one of my favorite places to play on earth," Diplo told Entertainment Tonight last year. "There's nothing quite like it. What started as an experiment has become some of the most fun I have all year... So, we're taking over the HonkyTonk and making my party bigger than ever."
The announcement comes a few weeks after Diplo sold his Mad Decent publishing catalog to Iconoclast. The catalog included dance hits like Baauer's "Harlem Shake" and Major Lazer's "Lean On," among many others.
"Our acquisition of the Mad Decent Publishing catalog illustrates our commitment to preserving and growing culturally significant art of any era including with artists that are shaping contemporary music," Olivier Chastan, Iconoclast's founder and CEO, said at the time.
