ACRAZE Revitalizes 2008 Natasha Bedingfield Hit In Must-Listen House Track, “Take Me Away”

The classic vocal hook from “Pocketful of Sunshine” gets a fresh makeover in the newest track from the EDM.com Class of 2022 star.

ACRAZE's latest sampling magic comes in the form of "Take Me Away," a new track that breathes new life into the hook from Natasha Bedingfield's "Pocketful of Sunshine."

After sampling R&B group Cherish for his breakout house hit, "Do It To It," there's no doubt ACRAZE has another hit on his hands.

"I grew up listening to Natasha Bedingfield, so I was super excited to get her approval on this song," said ACRAZE, who was named to the EDM.com Class of 2022 last year. "I started working on the track about two years ago, but got the inspiration to finish it last year, before my Paris show with DJ Snake at Parc de Princes. When I played it for the first time, the crowd went absolutely nuts, and I knew right away that I had to release it."

"Having [Bedingfield's] personal blessing to let me put out the song is one of the most iconic things," ACRAZE added in a tweet. "What a legend."

"Take Me Away" is Bedingfield-approved. ACRAZE took to social media to share a FaceTime chat with the esteemed singer-songwriter, who he's confirmed for a special performance on March 10th at his headlining Hollywood Palladium DJ set. Bedingfield is said to be performing an acoustic version of the track, which will lead into ACRAZE’s house version.
