ARMNHMR and Lena Leon Collide on Electropop Anthem, “Lifeline”
ARMNHMR never fail to tug at our heartstrings.
They've now tapped decorated singer-songwriter Lena Leon for a new single, "Lifeline," out now via Monstercat. Set to appear on ARMNHMR's forthcoming album, the track reaches deeper and deeper into the duo's bag of emotions.
Leon's hauntingly airy vocals open the arrangement and lead us into a house-influenced electro-pop drop. It's a departure from what fans often expect to hear from ARMNHMR, who have long been known for their soaring melodic bass anthems.
“With 'Lifeline,' we wanted to bring in the sounds that influenced us growing up," ARMNHMR said in a joint statement. "Overall, we believe that great art stays true to ourselves and the influences that make us, well, us. Working with Lena was a perfect fit."
ARMNHMR are quickly approaching the release of their hotly anticipated sophomore album, Together As One. The rollout began with "Drowning," a collaboration with Heleen, before they dropped the Lights-assisted "Someone to Forget." While there's no telling whether or not they'll deliver a fourth single before the album drops next month, we can only anticipate more aching music from the prolific duo.
