Dr. Fresch Drops Monster VIP of MARTEN HØRGER Collab, “Take a Step Back”

Dr. Fresch has given one of his classics a fresh dose.

The House Call Records boss today unleashed his VIP edit of 2020's "Take A Step Back," his festival-favorite collaboration with MARTEN HØRGER. The new version fully embraces his signature blend of bass and G-house, but takes on a darker, broodier feel with a blistering beat that'll keep dancefloors moving all night long.

The original was already somewhat of a festival anthem, receiving support from Calvin Harris, Tchami and many more, so fans can expect its VIP to be weaponized in a similar fashion throughout the live circuit.

Dr. Fresch has solidified himself as a stalwart of house music since bursting onto the scene with singles like "On And On" and "The Hood." His House Call Records imprint has been just as prolific, championing the genre's underground while spreading Fresch's unique sound and curation to the masses.
