Ekonovah Returns to hau5trap With Vitalizing House Track, “Miss You”
Sometimes, the most unexpected outcomes stem from frustrating moments.
That was certainly the case for Ekonovah, whose new release, "Miss You," came into existence after a tech issue interrupted his production session. An engaging listen thanks to its soulful vocals and thick basslines, it's a vitalizing track that will get feet shuffling at festivals across the nation.
"I can't think about the creation of 'Miss You' without thinking about a random tour stop last year in Idaho," Ekonovah said in a statement. "I was working on another track of mine in my hotel that corrupted out of nowhere and was unrecoverable. So I booted up a version of 'Miss You' that was in its infancy and was actually able to finish it and play it out later that night. Looking back, the whole thing was a blessing in disguise. Had my other project file not corrupted, I don't think this song would exist."

Ekonovah was recently welcomed onto hau5trap's roster, releasing a trio of house hits: “Someday,” “The Beginning” and “Bass Bitch.” The surging 25-year-old producer and DJ was also named to EDM.com’s Class of 2023 earlier this year, joining Knock2, Indira Paganotto and more.
