HOL! Unleashes Bone-Rattling Mixtape: Listen
The rising "Country Riddim" star's mixtape contains nine new tracks, including a collaboration with Subtronics.
As his breakout track "Country Riddim" continues to go haywire, HOL! is back with a brand new self-titled mixtape featuring a handful of coveted IDs.
HOL! perfectly encapsulates the unique and gritty sound of its namesake producer, whose imaginative take on dubstep and riddim is tough to ignore. The mixtape is unrelenting from start to finish, with bone-rattling bass and heavy, grinding synths serving as its cornerstones.
The mixtape includes VIPs of "Country Riddim" and the Eptic-assisted "Detonate," as well as a remix of Diplo's "Wasted" (with Kodak Black and Koe Wetzel). Perhaps most impressive is his hotly anticipated collaboration with Subtronics, which also landed on the tape.
HOL! has been on a tear. 2022's "Country Riddim" had been a festival weapon since its release, but it went viral this year due to support from Four Tet, who most recently dropped it on Coachella's mainstage alongside Fred again.. and Skrillex. The year prior, he released his debut album Black Hole Final Chapter, which featured collabs with Infekt, HE$H, AFK and more.
