IMANU Unveils Eclectic “Unfold” Remix Package With Zeds Dead, Subtronics, More

"UNFOLD Remixes" is a masterclass in tastemaking, as IMANU's hand-chosen artists effortlessly embrace his vision while infusing it with their distinct sounds.

Last year, IMANU's Unfold was released to wide praise amongst the electronic music community. Today, the EDM.com Class of 2023 star has unveiled a remix package just as daring as his original effort. 

UNFOLD Remixes is the perfect compliment to what was already an essential album of 2022. The record is a masterclass in tastemaking, as IMANU's hand-chosen artists effortlessly embrace his vision while infusing it with their distinct sounds. 

Hopping on the album to provide a rumbling drum & bass VIP of "Empress," IMANU has also enlisted the likes of Zeds Dead, Subtronics, Nitepunk, X&G, Deadcrow and more. While this group is star-studded from just the names alone, nearly all involved have proven to be an innovative force in electronic music. 

Chee offers one of the album's most mesmerizing remixes, slowing down the pace of "Temper" while transforming the track into a vibey, bass-driven plunge. Former has also remixed "Temper," instead reworking the tune into a gritty techno heater. 

IMANU has arrived as a generational talent, fearlessly innovating release after release. Last year started out strong, releasing Neiges / La Fournaise with The Caracal Project as well as his collaborative effort with Jon Casey, "Kotaro." He ended the year strong with the release of UNFOLD, his masterful debut album.
