Hardwell Drops Massive Remix of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “Miracle”
Hardwell had debuted his electrifying "Miracle" remix during his headlining Ultra Music Festival 2023 performance in Miami.
After treating fans in Miami to a special crossover between two of dance music's biggest stars, Hardwell has now officially released his remix of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding's latest hit, "Miracle."
The Dutch icon once again took over the Ultra Music Festival Mainstage for a hotly anticipated headlining performance. In his hourlong set, he took fans on a journey through the various phases of his constantly evolving sound via classics like "Spaceman" and new tracks like "Sloopkogel." Tipping his cap to the dance music contemporaries who supported him during his ascent to stardom, he also threw in timeless records like David Guetta's "Titanium" and Avicii's "The Nights."
While most of that is expected behavior from Hardwell, fans were caught off guard when he dropped a massive remix of "Miracle" before uploading a clip to his YouTube channel.[embed]https://youtube.com/watch?v=e9xxt8VPvSA[/embed]
Taking on an unexpected genre, Hardwell's new rework is exhilarating, channelling anthemic, old-school trance music. Wielding Goulding's powerful vocals, he electrifies with soaring trance leads and a high-speed beat for another stellar track in the wake of his momentous comeback.
"I’m really happy with the whole decision, and I’ve never been more productive and happy in the studio as I am right now," Hardwell told EDM.com in an intimate interview last year. "It feels way more like freedom right now than following the rules of the particular formula that went straight into big room."
