Kygo’s Palm Tree Festival to Hit the Shoreline With Southern California Debut
Palm Tree Festival takes over Doheny State Beach with co-headliners Kygo and Ellie Goulding to kickstart the summer.
Kygo's Palm Tree Music Festival series is ringing in summer 2023 in the Golden State.
Following an imminent pitstop on the snowy slopes of Aspen, Kygo's Palm Tree Crew is setting up shop on the shoreline in Dana Point, California for its SoCal debut.
The festival series has come to represent all things summertime—much like the bright and uplifting music of Kygo himself. But this time around, the backdrop for Palm Tree Music Festival is an actual beach, a first in the nascent brand's history.
Doheny State Beach will be the setting for Palm Tree Festival's Southern California debut, and the crew is showing up with notable company. Co-headlining the one-day event are Kygo and the tropical house producer's "First Time" collaborator, Ellie Goulding. They'll be joined by Tove Lo, The Midnight, The Knocks, Two Feet and Forester for a jam-packed day of music.
"We are thrilled to bring the Palm Tree Music Festival experience beachside at Dana Point,” Kygo said in a statement shared with EDM.com. “The tropical lifestyle isn’t just our brand, it’s a way of life, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally hit the sand with our community to start the summer season with good vibes and great music."
Palm Tree Music Festival is scheduled for May 13th, 2023 in Dana Point. Tickets are on sale now.
