Mochakk Launches New Nightclub and Cultural Space, OBLIQO, In Brazil Hometown
Today marks a big milestone in the red-hot career of Mochakk as he swings open the doors of his new nightclub and cultural space in his hometown of Sorocaba, Brazil.
The club is called OBLIQO, playing off the Portuguese word "Oblíquo." According to the club's website, the term captures the concept of a shifted perspective or tilted vision.
"OBLIQO will be the first venue in the city dedicated to fostering and strengthening the national music scene," the site states.
OBLIQO will also play home to a series of visual exhibits and workshops designed to "connect artists with the public" and cultivate the region's electronic music community. The workshops will be "led by industry veterans, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to learn from some of the best in the field," according to a press release.

Part two features three energizing tracks that showcase the producer's stellar production skills. "No Boys Allowed (OG House Mix)" with Tommy Genesis heats up the dancefloor, followed by "Estribeira" featuring Brazilian artist Artisian. Finally, a "Street Mix" of "No Boys Allowed" wraps up the project in atmospheric fashion.
The official opening of OBLIQO will take place today, September 6th by virtue of a sold-out launch party in celebration of Locomotiva Ibiza 2099 II. The EP is out now and you can listen below.
