MRAK’s “Manifesto” EP Is the First of a Series of New Techno Releases From the Tale of Us Icon
Carmine Conte, one half of the superstar techno duo Tale of Us, has dropped a new EP under his solo project, MRAK, kicking off a series of upcoming releases on Afterlife.
The two-track Manifesto EP is a tale of dualities, exploring the relationships between existence and resistance, and change and inner harmony. Thumping techno beats and uplifting synths collide in each song, transporting us to a deeply introspective headspace.
The haunting "Manifesto" features a hair-raising soliloquy in the break, followed by a dark and cathartic explosion of incandescent techno energy. Steeped in MRAK's signature style, it's a surefire standout.
MRAK will be performing with his Tale of Us bandmate, Anyma, in Ibiza this summer as part of a momentous Afterlife residency. The brand recently struck a landmark deal with Interscope ahead of Anyma's debut album, which is expected to release in late 2023.
