New “House Hats Ave” Series to Launch With Headlining Cloonee Set in Tallahasse

The team behind House Hats are launching a new event series—and they're going big.

From their taste-making record label to their larger-than-life Miami Music Week parties, the Floridian house music collective has been making quite a name for itself. Now they're gearing up for a brand-new event series, "House Hats Ave," which will soon launch at Tallahassee's Tally Strip.

The new block party series pours gasoline on the rise of House Hats, who have thrown over 250 shows to-date. Co-founder Manny Lopez tells us it's a bona fide showcase of the collective's ethos, which is rooted in the carefree splendor of house music.

"We transform the space with our branding, creative décor and production quality to create moments that are remembered forever," Lopez says. "Expect to find art installations, talented DJs, vendors, sponsors, cocktails and passionate house fans having a great time."

It's all set to kick off with a headlining DJ set from Hellbent Records boss Cloonee. Fresh off the release of his long-awaited single "Fine Night," the tech house superstar will light the series ablaze on August 31st with a can't-miss performance. Having torn up a pair of House Hats events in the past, Cloonee is poised to usher in their new series with a bang.

"We are very passionate about the artists we have worked with and treat them as family," adds Lopez, who says his team brought Cloonee on his debut Florida tour three years ago. "The support Cloonee and his team has given us from the beginning of our journey goes a long way and we will always support him for it."

"It’s also crazy to see how quickly an artist can become as successful as Cloonee, while pushing tech house and aligning with our fans," Lopez continues. "It was special to have him perform at our three-year anniversary party, b3b with Dom Dolla and John Summit at our EDC warehouse afterparty. We’re looking forward to this show and whatever else the future brings."

The 18-and-up concert is presented by House Hats and The Road to Imagine Music Festival. Cloonee will be supported by Cut & Sew b2b TiDDY and Sesh b2b Jolo, with more artists soon to be announced.
