Pretty Lights Confirmed to Headline New Multi-Genre Camping Festival, Cascade Equinox

Produced by the organizers of Gem & Jam and 4 Peaks, the inaugural Cascade Equinox Festival will take place in Oregon's high desert in late September 2023.

Fans rejoiced this week when Pretty Lights announced his return to music after a five-year hiatus, revealing his "Soundship Spacesystem Tour" and two festival gigs: Suwannee Hulaween and Cascade Equinox.

If you’ve never heard of Cascade Equinox before, you’re not alone. This brand new camping festival is in its very first year, but with the oversight of the seasoned organizers of Gem & Jam and 4 Peaks, the multi-genre event in Oregon is sure to be one for the books.

We're told the forthcoming lineup will feature electronic, jam, funk, soul and bluegrass acts. Popular jam band Goose were revealed as an additional headliner in the wake of Pretty Lights' announcement, and many more artists are yet to be announced.

Cascade Equinox Festival is scheduled for September 22-24 at Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond, Oregon. The sprawling venue comprises 340 acres of land in the high desert and offers stunning views of its surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Fans can look forward to interactive art installations, yoga, beer and wine tastings and even carnival rides onsite. They'll also be able to participate in wellness workshops and spend time in a "healing sanctuary."

A variety of camping options are available, including a glamping experience complete with access to a shaded lounge space, private bar, fire pit, phone charging stations, daily happy hour and meditation sessions, among other amenities.
