Saunter Into Summertime Bliss With Lane 8’s Newest Seasonal Mixtape

The man behind This Never Happened is back with another uplifting seasonal mixtape to usher in the sunshine.

As if to truly mark the changing of the seasons, Lane 8 released the mix on the very same day as the summer solstice. Spanning almost three hours, his "Summer 2023 Mixtape" weaves together a whopping 51 songs, including 10 dreamlike unreleased tracks. 

With atmospheric, easy-listening energy providing the perfect backdrop for a summer evening spent in nature, the new tape features the sounds of Luttrell, Anyma, Cubicolor and many more.

Lane 8 has been releasing seasonal mixtapes for a decade now, with the first airing in the winter of 2013. He has also been hosting his series of "Summer Gatherings," with recent performances in New York and San Francisco. The final 2023 show will take place in Denver on September 9th and will include supporting DJ sets from Sultan + Shepard, EMBRZ, Massane, Ocula and Ashibah.
