Watch a Trippy 360° Recording of Aphex Twin’s Field Day 2023 Performance
Aphex Twin's visuals surrounding you is a terrifying thought.
A few weeks ago, fans of the electronic music legend descended on London's Victoria Park for Field Day 2023, which also featured performances from Bonobo, Arca, Jayda G, Jon Hopkins, SBTRKT and more.
Not one to be contained by any sort of descriptor or genre, the ever-enigmatic Aphex Twin threw down a rare headlining set. If you couldn't make it to the show, you are in luck after NTS recorded the entire performance with a 360° camera and uploaded an interactive video to YouTube so you can fully immerse yourself in the madness.
In the 90 minutes he was in command of the decks, Aphex Twin played songs from his three decade-plus discography, rare cuts from his AFX side project, tracks off of his brand-new EP Blackbox Life Recorder 21f, and even selections from modern-day bass music innovators like Eprom.
Watch Aphex Twin's entire Field Day 2023 performance with interactive 360° features below. If you're on a desktop, you can interact with the video by clicking and dragging. Mobile users will have to use the official YouTube app to experience the set in 360°.
