Let's get it out of the way ahead of time. Yes, he played "Country Riddim" more than once.

After Frank Ocean's controversial headlining performance on the final night of Coachella 2023's first weekend, he announced he would not take the stage for Weekend 2. The music world then erupted with speculation about who would replace him.

blink-182 was an obvious choice considering they performed a surprise set the weekend prior, and their résumé undoubtedly resembles that of a Coachella headliner. So naturally, they were added to the lineup and were set to perform on the mainstage right before a mysterious "tba" act.

As you likely know by now, just after blink-182's addition, electronic music's favorite boy band, Skrillex, Fred again.. and Four Tet, were announced last-minute as the closing act of Coachella 2023. With all eyes on the trio, fans of whom affectionally call Pangbourne House Mafia, they showcased the lighthearted, fun side of dance music despite performing in an environment many consider pretentious. Like their other shows, they were all smiles and played some of their favorite songs, which of course included the viral "Country Riddim" by HOL!. The set spawned an onslaught of memes that have likely dominated your timeline as seemingly the entire world is just now realizing how wonderful Four Tet is.
