Eprom Shares Visions of a Techno-Utopia in New Album, “Syntheism”
Let's pray the future is as beautiful as Eprom imagines it to be.
On another timeline, far out in the multiverse, the Akkadian Empire never suffered a long drought that led to its demise. This brought forth many organizations seeking to enrich society and create a techno-utopia. With a link to this alternate reality, Eprom dedicated his latest album, Syntheism, to sharing some of his visions of this world running parallel to ours.
With a penchant for producing inventive soundscapes that ebb and flow between genres with experimental panache, Eprom has delivered a concept album that soundtracks a technological revolution. The album's 14 tracks are a song-cycle of motorized melodies, cybernetic clashes and robotic rhythms, rounding out the masterful producer's first album in quite some time.
Fans were able to experience this new era of Eprom earlier in the spring, when he debuted his machine-powered "Syntheism Robotics" show. The all-new live show featured real-life robots from Motorized Precision, a renowned robotics manufacturer. For those who missed the first outing, he's expanded the event for a mid-summer return and his biggest headline show yet, a "culmination of over 20 years of work."
