Madeon Sows the Seeds of Inner Strength in Breezy New Track, “Gonna Be Good”

The word "pessimism" isn't in Madeon's vocabulary.

The French electronic music superstar is back with "Gonna Be Good," a breezy and cathartic dance jam to usher in the summer solstice. And if the track's music video is any indication, Madeon is coming into his own.

Just like Madeon's illusory "Good Faith Forever" show, the video is rooted in magical realism. Soundtracked by his bubbly vocals, its iridescent scenes oscillate between reality and imagination.

If past is prologue, we shouldn't be the least bit surprised at Madeon's latest ode to the optimistic. His effervescent sound has long been synonymous not only with the sounds of summer, but also with the seeds of inner strength.

"It's a song about restless hope," Madeon says. "It's about saying the things we wish were true until we start believing them."
