As reported just last month, Broadwick Live are opening a new venue in London hoping to be a successor to the iconic Printworks. Called The Beams, they have now unveiled lineups for their debut events.
The Beams is a venue aiming to be a new cultural hub where electronic music can thrive in an industrial, unique setting and following the recent news that Printworks is closing for good, it seems as though this has come at a vital time for the clubbing industry and avid partygoers. The 55,000 sq feet venue will be open from October to December of this year to start their first season, and will invite music lovers to an ‘untouched’ part of industrial London, featuring bold designs and impressive sound systems. Now, it’s time to see what The Beams have been keeping under wraps as they unveil some of the first names set to christen the DJ decks of this new space.
As the very first show on October 1, Michael Bibi has the honour of being the first headlining guest as he brings his ELOVATE concept with special guests that are still to be announced. On 8 October, SIDEXSIDE will be brought to life by a B2B set from Patrick Topping and Denis Sulta all day long, whereas the following week on Saturday 15 brings in Radiance presented by Honey Dijon who brings the likes of Dan Shake, Natasha Diggs and even more of a comprehensive lineup to the event. The following weekend to round out the October events brings Kölsch, Stephan Bodzin live, KAS:ST and more to the venue’s Room 1, whereas FAC51 The Haçienda brings in such names as Cybotron, The Orb and 808 State with their event. More are to be announced as the season goes until December, but we’ll have to wait and see what other names they have up their sleeve.
You can view the full lineups below, and don’t forget to snag tickets through the pre-sale which is live right now here. Remaining tickets go on general sale tomorrow (21 July).
