Zedd, deadmau5, Steve Aoki Featured in New Disney+ Show, “The Muppets Mayhem”

The electronic music superstars will join Morgan Freeman, Lil Nas X, Kesha and "Weird Al" Yankovic, among other special guests.

This is a way bigger flex than headlining a festival.

Coming soon to Disney+ is a new series about The Muppets' signature musical group, The Electric Mayhem. For those unfamiliar with the characters, they are a fictional band in the Muppets universe that has released real songs since the 1970s. Their new show, The Muppets Mayhem, chronicles the lives of the puppet band trying to make a comeback and release their first album after all this time.

In true Muppets fashion, the show will feature plenty of celebrity guests, including electronic music superstars deadmau5, Steve Aoki and Zedd. Considering The Muppets Mayhem is a show about the music industry, musicians Lil Nas X, Kesha, Tommy Lee, Paula Abdul, Ziggy Marley and "Weird Al" Yankovic will make cameos as well. Other special guests include Morgan Freeman, Kevin Smith, Danny Trejo and Jack McBrayer.

The Muppets Mayhem will hit Disney+ on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023. At the time of writing, it's unclear which episodes will feature deadmau5, Steve Aoki and Zedd.
