Odyssey Music Festival Delivered Bass, House and Cyberpunk Energy to Tampa Bay

Hosting an outdoor festival on Florida's west coast in the heat of the summertime is a daunting task, but the team behind Odyssey Music Festival rose to the occasion for the event's successful sophomore year. The sounds of thumping bass and house music radiated across multiple stages, with stellar performances by Mr. Carmack, Saka, Ms. Mada and many more.

Known for pushing cyberpunk culture, the festival's organizers leveled up its programming in 2023. They helped manage heat and humidity with more shade and misting areas, expanded the vendor village, increased the number of featured mural artists and interactive art installations, and even hosted a rave fashion runway show.

"To witness Odyssey Music festival grow and bloom from its roots has been such a dream to see it come to life, but now to revisit it in a grander scheme this year was really impactful for all of us," Odyssey Music Festival co-founder Christine Ngo, also known as XTN, told EDM.com. "We were truly at a loss of words to see all of Vinoy Park absolutely glowing and filled with double the amount of guests from last year. We couldn't be anymore happy to witness this growth and most importantly, to actively connect with and inspire our local and worldwide communities to discover new forms and aspects of the arts."

Co-founder Tom Grecco finessed a very special surprise into the day, too, proposing to Christine in front of the Odyssey crowd. "It was such a special feeling considering we both moved to Saint Pete with our shared dream to produce and grow OMF20XX together," Ngo gushed.
