Premiere: UMEK & Cosmic Boys – Evolution – Dancing Astronaut

UMEK has paired with rising talents Cosmic Boys for a brand new steamroller on his label 1605. It’s a gritty, big room techno number fitted with bursts of synth melody and rumbling kicks that play out like a storm on the dancefloor. The collaborators show no mercy to listeners; the breakdown is as intense as soundscape surrounding it, raising hairs from beginning to start. It’s a tried-and-true formula for the clubs.

“Evolution” is just the A-side of a two-piece collaborative EP by the 1605 boss, who also joined Teenage Mutants for the throbbing, “Feels Like A Tunnel.” The EP follows up his recent single on Toolroom, “Vigilance.”
