The HARD Summer Music Festival Is Returning to Los Angeles After a Decade

HARD Summer will move from San Bernardino to L.A. in 2023 and take over a "brand new, never-before-used venue."

Reunited, and it feels so good.

A reunion 10 years in the making is reconnecting HARD Summer with its L.A. roots after the festival's organizers today announced a return to the City of Angels. Typically held in San Bernardino, the festival debuted back in 2008 and has since operated as one of Southern California's biggest EDM events.

Scheduled for August 5-6, the 2023 edition of HARD Summer will take place at a "brand new, never-before-used venue combination," according to a press release shared with EDM.com. The festival's organizers are building various stages spread out across the campuses of Exposition Park, BMO Stadium and the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The HARD Stage will feature mainstage EDM acts at the Green Lot on the south side of BMO Stadium, and the HARDER Stage on the South Lawn will offer a multi-genre experience, most likely incorporating hip-hop. Fans of techno and house music can cut shapes at the Pink Stage at Christmas Tree Lane Park while bass music enthusiasts will be able to let loose at the Green Stage inside the L.A. Coliseum.

"We are thrilled to host HARD Summer’s return to Los Angeles as part of our centennial anniversary celebration," said Joe Furin, General Manager of the Coliseum. "As home to the most iconic events in the world, this festival is an exciting addition to our 100-year history."

Two-day passes to HARD Summer 2023 will be available here on February 3rd at 10am PT. A lineup has not been revealed at the time of writing.
