Tisoki Embraces His Rule-Breaking Spirit On New EP, “Songs to Play Loud”
Tisoki finds himself in a stylistic state of flow, once more showcasing his proven versatility in the world of bass music.
Tisoki is in the spirit of moving fast and breaking things.
The U.K. producer is once more proving himself a stylistic switchblade capable of setting the sonic spectrum alight with a blistering combination of trap, bass and dubstep-inspired sounds.
Tisoki has packaged his latest contrarian cocktail of sounds together on Songs To Play Loud, his brand new EP. And it's a listen that once more seeks to keep us on our toes with unwavering consistency.
The virtuosic producer ratchets up the temperature early with "No Rules," a track that whips up a storm of vocal ad-libs and trades blows with barking trap synths. But it's far from his only track to throw conventional tactics out the window. On "NOHO," Tisoki and Bansaint serve up a dreamlike helping of melodic hip-hop before the track washes out with a riotous tide of distorted bass.
The latter half of the EP remains engaging and consistent with Tisoki and Tima Dee bringing a combination of angelic vocal harmonies and high-energy trap synths. For his final act, Tisoki finds himself in a state of flow with "Questions? Answers!," a track that leans on pitch-heavy processing effects and sticky vocals. The production side of it marks a sweet conclusion to an otherwise savory offering that's sure to satisfy his most tenured fans.
